Catalyst for Growth Programme Launch Event
The Catalyst for Growth programme launch event took place on Tuesday 4th February 2014 at Sci-Tech Daresbury.
Professor Tim Wheeler, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chester opened the event and welcomed over 55 delegates from businesses, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and other intermediary organisations.
Members of the Programme Team provided information on the application process, eligibility criteria, how to access RGF-funded technical support and answered questions from delegates.
Speakers also included Tricia Francis from UKTI who supported the application for RGF funding and Professor Steve Wilkinson, Head of Chemical Engineering at the University of Chester who introduced Thornton Science Park which offers facilities and resources to the chemical sector as well as collaborative opportunities for potential grant applicants.
